The fellas are once again back in the booth for another Burst Pod! As a reminder, these are quick, to the point and almost all business. Shorter than a Sprintz, but designed to be quick reactions to things in our world that folks ought to know. For this installment, we are kicking things off, with a new segment, the Spotlight or Sip Spotlights, the name is still under development. However, we got two Sips that deserve their praise according to AJ. A nearly 10 year old white Rioja and a whiskey forward cocktail that’s ideal for fall. From there, SJ shares a sneaker that is perfect for relaxing. Tune in to see how the two feel about them and how the pair fares with the return of Fire or Fugazi. Sip Spotlight #2 The Vanhattan Cocktail

-1.5 oz Bourbon

-1.5 oz Rye Whiskey
-½ oz Sweet Vermouth
-2 dashes of Blood Orange bitters
-1 dash of angostura
-teaspoon of luxardo cherry syrup

-Combine all in a mixing glass with ice and stir for 20-30 seconds
-Let it sight for 5 minutes before straining into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with an orange peel
