The fellas are once again back in the booth for another Burst Pod! As a reminder, these are quick, to the point and almost all business. Shorter than a Sprintz, but designed to be quick reactions to things in our world that folks ought to know. For this installment, we are back with another edition of the Spotlight or Spotlights, the name is still under development. However, we got two Sips that deserve their praise according to AJ. And yes, we heard you loud and clear after last week, so we have a much more approachable cocktail for fall and a Riesling coming from an unexpected area. From there, SJ shares a sneaker that took the sneaker world by storm this week after the NBA is back in action. The Ol' Sorgy cocktail

-thin lemon peel

-¼ oz of Sorghum syrup (1:1 with water)

-2 dashers aromatic bitters 

-2 oz Bourbon of your choice 

-lightly muddle with the lemon with the syrup and bitters then add bourbon and ice to a mixer

-mix for 20 to 30 seconds and then strain into a lowball with a rock and garnice with a lemon or orange peel
